THREE people including a teenage girl have been arrested and a vehicle seized, following a vehicle stop near Penrith.
Officers stopped a vehicle near Clifton close to Penrith yesterday evening, June 6, at around 8.15pm.
Three people including a woman, 38, a man, 44 and a female, 17 were arrested and remain in police custody.
A spokesman from Cumbria Police said: "A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs, possession of a controlled drug and two thefts.
"A 38-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of driving without a license, being concerned in the supply of drugs and driving over the prescribed limit of drugs.
"A female, aged 17, was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
"The vehicle was also seized by police due to no insurance.
"All remain in police custody for questioning."
