A Lake District holiday home inspired by Agatha Christie is available for rent.

Poirot House, nestled in the foothills of Skiddaw, is designed to offer a unique getaway experience.

The property, available through Sally's Cottages, features four acres of enclosed gardens, a double lounge with various seating areas, and a terrace with outdoor sofas overlooking the mountains.

Guests can engage in murder mystery parties or enjoy classic whodunnits in the snug, warmed by a wood-burning fire.

The large kitchen comes equipped with an AGA, and a garden room with a pool table.
