A Bowness pub has been named the best beer garden in the UK.
Lake View Garden Bar topped the list of the 30 best beer gardens in the UK, released by Enjoy Travel today.
Named as the best place to enjoy a beer in the sunshine, the pub is described as offering an ‘elevated’ beer garden on the shores of Lake Windermere.
Graham Hadaway, director of Hargreaves Enterprises who own the pub said: "We're thrilled to be recognised as the best beer garden in the UK.
This is all down to the fantastic team which runs the venue.
"We've always known it as the 'best place to be' and it's so nice we can
share the experience with everyone whether they're enjoying food with
the family, a refreshing drink with friends or relaxing with weekly
live music. There's something for everyone."
The travel site said: “Whether you want a hearty meal or just a couple of drinks, there are few better places to enjoy the stunning views than from Lake View Garden Bar.
