A rugby club in the Lake District is searching for 'passionate' volunteers to help it grow into the future.

Ambleside Rugby Club, otherwise known as the Centurions, launched the appeal at the start of the month.

People are needed to back its mission 'both on and off the field', which includes growing the sport across Cumbria.

A spokesperson said: "We are currently looking for individuals who can assist with fundraising efforts by identifying and securing grants, as well as building relationships with potential sponsors.

"Your support will play a vital role in ensuring the long-term success and growth of the team.

"If you have experience in fundraising, grant writing, or sponsorship outreach - or simply a desire to help - please consider joining our volunteer team."

The club can be contacted via its Facebook page or at Amblesiderufc@gmail.com.
