Trevor Batchelor's 'Wool Is My Bread' exhibition in Kendal

Wool Is My Bread by local artist Trevor Batchelor is on display, capturing daily scenes from the town through a series of thought-provoking images.

The exhibition, which runs until November 1, had a private view on September 18, attended by the Mayor of Kendal, Batchelor, and centre staff.

The collection features a mix of abstract, ironic and comical images that invite viewers to pause and reflect on the often-overlooked moments of everyday life.

Mr Batchelor said: "This woolliness feeds my appetite to create.

"My creations satisfy this appetite, and so, in many respects, these have become my bread."

The exhibition title is a nod to Kendal’s historical connection to the wool trade.
