Aldi is hiring 100 new store colleagues in Cumbria as part of its 2025 Christmas recruitment drive.
The supermarket chain is hiring for a range of permanent store positions to help replenish stock and assist customers during the festive season, and into 2026.
Roles include store assistants, managerial positions and cleaners.

Aldi says it remains the UK’s highest-paying supermarket, offering store assistants a starting wage of £13.02 per hour nationally and £14.35 inside the M25.
According to the store, it is also the only UK supermarket to offer paid breaks to all colleagues, valued at more than £1,425 a year for the average store colleague.
The recruitment push forms part of Aldi’s growth plans as it looks to open one store per week before the end of the year, in line with it's long-term ambition to have 1,500 stores in the UK.
