A photography workshop in Kendal this weekend is set to teach the art of film processing.
The Introduction To The Dark Room session will be held on Saturday, September 27.
Running from 12pm to 5pm, the workshop is open to anyone over 16, aiming to guide participants through film photography essentials.
Attendees will learn the entire process, from loading film to understanding aperture and shutter speed, processing black-and-white film, and creating finished prints in the darkroom.
The practical, hands-on teaching will be led by photographer Liam Collins, an award-winning artist known for his landscape, street, and experimental photography.
His work has been showcased in both solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally.
The workshop is designed for beginners or those wanting to refresh their skills.
Participants are asked to bring a 35mm or medium format film camera.
For those who don't own a camera, arrangements can be made to provide one if notified in advance.
There are no additional costs on top of the £65 course fee as all materials and chemicals are included in the price.
The workshop will be held in the Dark Room at Kendal's Brewery Arts Centre.
