Fallbarrow Hall is offering a festive period ‘like no other’ – the mansion gives guests the chance to have a large, multi-generational Christmas celebration.
The Grade II Listed Victorian Mansion, located within Parkdean Resorts’ Fallbarrow Holiday Park, has announced that it still has availability open this Christmas period for those interested in a potential getaway.
The 18-bedroom hall, which lies on the shores of Windermere, is available to hire for £190 per night for three nights when split between a full house of 36 guests.
On-site, the house is kitted out with a games room, cinema, cocktail bar, grand dining hall, as well as hot tubs.
Parkdean Resorts has also said that the hall will be decorated for the period with a host of festive paraphernalia, including an eight-foot Christmas tree.
Only available to hire on a self-catering basis, the Victorian mansion does have a complete kitchen with everything needed for a prospective guest to cook their Christmas dinner.
Parkdean Resorts described the potential Christmas experience as “perfect” for a big family holiday.
“Guests can cosy up under a blanket to watch their favourite festive films in the cinema room,” the Resort company wrote, “prepare eggnog or mulled wine in the cocktail bar, or even stargaze from the spacious lawn or outdoor hot tubs.”
“The property is also adorned with large Victorian fireplaces for guests looking to read or play board games in front of a roaring fire.”
Fallbarrow Hall is also dog-friendly, allowing guests to bring their pets along for the trip.
The Victorian mansion is just a short distance from the town of Bowness-on-Windermere.
The location puts guests in the perfect location to go out and explore the area and visit the local pubs, restaurants, and shops too.
The house is described as “a hidden gem,” transporting those who stay “back to its Victorian heritage.”
