Shoppers in Kendal are being advised of upcoming maintenance works at the Westmorland Shopping Centre multi-storey car park.
Westmorland and Furness Council has confirmed that from Monday, October 13, contractors will be carrying out works over a two-week period.
The project will involve phased closures of areas on different floors of the car park. The council said that as work progresses, closures will be clearly signposted and coned off, with motorists still able to move freely around the building.

Speaking on the council Facebook page, a spokesperson said: “For two weeks from Monday 13 October we will be carrying out works at the Westmorland Shopping Centre multi-storey car park in Kendal that will involve phased closures of areas on the different floors.

"As our contractors work their way around the car park, the closures will be clearly signposted and coned. Any disruption will be kept to a minimum and motorists will still be able to move freely through the car park.”
