A family home in the Lake District is set to go under the hammer this month.

The three-bedroom terraced house in Windermere is listed with a guide price of £85,000.

Number 32 Droomer Drive is described as an ex-local authority in need of a "full refurbishment".

The house features a vestibule, two reception rooms, a kitchen, and a utility room on the ground floor.

Three bedrooms and a shower room occupy the first floor.

The property also includes front and rear gardens.

The auctioneer noted that the property is located in a "popular residential area" and is conveniently close to amenities and transport links.

The property will be sold by public auction at an event at The Halston Hotel in Carsile on December 10 from noon.

To view the property, interested buyers should contact Thomson Hayton Winkley on 015394 47825.
