A TOWN in South Cumbria has been voted as one of the happiest places to live across Great Britain.
Each year, Rightmove ask thousands of people how they feel about where they live.
The survey, conducted by the UK's largest online real estate property portal. took into consideration not just properties, but also the wider area including, communities, and how close people were to things they thought mattered the most.
This year, Kendal ranked as the 30th happiest place to live in Great Britain. According to the data, this put the town fourth in the north west.
Skipton in North Yorkshire took the crown for being the happiest place to live in 2025 by those that live there. The London boroughs of Richmond-upon-Thamas and Camden finished second and third.
