The Kendal Concert Band, led by musical director Helen Robertson, performed at the Mayor's Winter Warmer at Kendal Town Hall on Saturday, playing well-known carols for attendees enjoying coffee and mince pies.
The following day, the band held a charity concert at the same venue in support of motor neurone disease.
One of the night’s highlights was a light-hearted performance of The Twelve Days of Christmas
It featured Liberal Democrat MP for Westmorland and Lonsdale, Tim Farron, the band's president, and a former member joining in for the "five Brussels sprouts" verse.
The band’s final appearance of the season will be at the Unitarian Chapel on Branthwaite Brow at 10am this Friday, December 19.
The performance will coincide with the Christmas Farmers market, rounding off their Christmas schedule.
