A luxury glamping pod has opened in Carnforth, promising guests an escape with a touch of fairy-tale magic.

Named Alice’s Secret Garden, the newly launched pod is the fifth addition to the Wonderland Retreats collection in Lancashire.

For adults only, it is designed to offer couples a private and whimsical retreat.

A spokesperson for Wonderland Retreats said in a statement: "Each themed pod offers its own distinctive charm, and the launch of Alice’s Secret Garden marks an exciting milestone, the opening of Wonderland Retreats’ fifth pod, further expanding its portfolio of enchanting escapes."

The pod features a private garden with a water fountain, an outdoor bath overlooking a private pond, a wood-fired hot tub, a sauna and an entertainment suite.

The suite includes a pool table, an ice hockey table, an interactive darts board, and a private cinema room for two.

A heated bedroom comes with an en-suite bathroom and tea and coffee facilities.

Guests can enjoy one-night bookings, making the pod well-suited for spontaneous breaks or romantic weekends away.

Each stay at Wonderland Retreats is designed to feel like a fairy-tale escape, focused on relaxation and reconnection.

The retreat has earned praise from visitors for its creative touches and standards of service.
