A Kendal car retailer is celebrating the early success for one of this year’s most anticipated EVs.
The Volvo EX60, set to launch later this year, has won the Reader Award at the 2026 What Car? Awards.
Lloyd Motors South Lakes is celebrating the recognition for its upcoming model.
Mark Smith, from Lloyd Motors South Lakes, said: "It’s fantastic to see the Volvo EX60 receive such a positive response even before it arrives in the UK.
"We’re delighted that our excitement for the launch is echoed by UK drivers and readers of What Car? Magazine.
He added: "Although customers will have to wait a little longer to see it at Lloyd Motors South Lakes and on Kendal roads, this award gives a great indication of the innovation, design and technology they can expect when the EX60 becomes available later this year."
The EV promises a range of up to 500 miles.
