A new film adaptation of a classic love story is coming to the big screen in Kendal this weekend.
Wuthering Heights will be shown at Kendal Brewery Arts from Friday, February 13, with screenings at 12.30pm, 4pm, and 7.30pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The film is based on Emily Brontë’s iconic novel set on the Yorkshire moors and tells the story of Heathcliff, who falls in love with Catherine Earnshaw, a woman from a wealthy family in 18th-century England.
Emerald Fennell directs the new adaptation, with a soundtrack by Charli XCX.
Brewery members receive a 10 per cent discount on most ticketed events.
A commission of £2 to £2.50 is included in the ticket price to support administrative costs and the maintenance of the historic venue.
