Here are some more brilliant pictures from an event that has helped raise more than £24,000 for hospice care.
The total has been confirmed after more than 800 people took part in the tenth Kendal Colour Dash on April 19, a 5km fun run in support of St John’s Hospice.
Participants were showered in colourful powdered paint along the route, which began and ended at Kirkbie Kendal School.
Dust clouds filled the air thanks to event sponsors Hackney & Leigh, James Cropper, South Lakes Housing, Turner Scott Lettings, and Westmorland Homecare.
Hannah Egglestone, fundraiser at St John’s Hospice, said: "We hope everyone had as much fun as we did at our tenth Kendal Colour Dash.
"It was amazing to see so many people turn up to have fun and support their local hospice."
St John’s Hospice provides care for patients from Grasmere to Garstang and Sedbergh to Morecambe.
Ms Egglestone explained that the funds raised directly support services such as Hospice at Home visits, day respite and nightsits, plus weekly sessions for patients, carers and healthcare professionals at the Marchesi Centre.
She said: "In 2025 we cared for 205 patients from Kendal and the South Lakes in their own homes, and 55 Cumbrian patients on our ward.
"We can provide even more support for people when they need us most – thank you to everyone who dashed, supported, sponsored, or volunteered at the Colour Dash for making this possible."
The event was sponsored by Castle Green Hotel, who launched the run with paint cannons, while Herdy once again sponsored the medals, featuring their iconic sheep on the popular lanyards.
