A number of measures are listed as part of the application, aimed at fulfilling the four licensing objectives – the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm.

The measures include CCTV in all public areas besides toilets, the keeping of an incident log, in which will be recorded any alcohol-related crimes, alcohol-related incidents of disorder and any refusal of the sale of alcohol.

Staff training under the Licensing Act 2003 would also be carried out with records of that training being kept as well as a proof of age scheme such as Challenge 25 being operated.

The application is open for public consultation until May 15.
