The Silverdale & Arnside Arts Festival is set to return, featuring over 80 artists.

Silverdale, Arnside, and Storth will host a trail of open studios and collective exhibitions on the weekend of June 27-28.

This popular event will display a range of work from local artists and makers.

The festival celebrates local creative talent and offers a chance to see unique, original pieces.

Visitors can meet the artists, learn about their creative processes, and buy unique, handmade work directly from them.

The festival will be spread across 29 locations, a mix of local venues and artists’ studios.

A map of the trail is available on the festival's website.

Attendees can expect to see a variety of artworks including paintings, prints, ceramics, textiles, photography, stained glass, collage, mixed media, digital art, leatherwork, and jewellery.

Both new exhibitors and established names will be present.

These include artist Janice McGloine, 3D embroidery by Corinne Young, sculpture by Karen Lainson, and illustration/surface pattern design by Gill Ferguson.

Returning to the festival is the Silverdale Art Group, comprising around 40 local artists working in various media.

They will be exhibiting in Gaskell Hall, Silverdale.

The festival is open to everyone, celebrating the local community and beyond.
