A MAN has been charged with a series of offences following reporters of a number of burglaries in Ambleside.
Amar Majid, of Valiant Way, Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees will appear at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court today after being charged with:
- Burglary dwelling
- Attempted burglary of a dwelling x2
- Burglary other than a dwelling x2
- Theft
- Assault of a police constable
It comes after the 37-year-old was arrested and remanded into custody on Wednesday night following the alleged offences on September 9.
