A vehicle on the A685 in Kirkby Stephen was seized by police for multiple offences.

The car had no insurance or tax, and the driver had a history of not responding to speeding ticket paperwork.

The driver was reported for these offences.

They also advised those using temporary insurance policies to check that these are still valid.

A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: "No insurance, no tax and a history of not replying to speeding ticket paperwork for this vehicle on the A685 Kirkby Stephen today, resulted in the driver being reported for offences and the vehicle being seized by Police.

"You can check if a vehicle is taxed online and if using temporary insurance policies, check that these are still in date before you travel."
