A chatty black cat is searching for a new home after struggling with cattery life.
Puma, a domestic short-hair currently in the care of RSPCA Blackpool and North Lancashire, arrived at the charity after leaving a multi-cat household.
A spokesman for the RSPCA Blackpool and North Lancs branch said: “Puma is a wonderfully chatty, friendly boy who is looking for a special forever home where he can truly relax and be himself.”
"Puma came from a multi-cat household and has found life in the cattery challenging at times, which has led to some overgrooming.
"The team are keen to find him his perfect match as soon as possible so he can settle into a calm, comfortable home of his own."
Described as active and full of personality, Puma enjoys relaxing in his downstairs bed, watching the world go by from his favourite shelf, and playing with his toys.
He greets visitors by happily rubbing around their legs and sometimes curling up on a lap.
However, carers noted that he can be sensitive around his lower back and prefers "shorter fussing sessions".
The charity is seeking experienced cat owners who can provide a quiet, stress-free, and spacious environment.
Puma needs to be the only pet in the household, meaning he cannot live with dogs or other cats.
Any children in his prospective home ideally should be of secondary school age or older.
The RSPCA branch added: “Once he has settled in, Puma will hopefully be able to embrace his inner panther and enjoy exploring the outdoors, which we hope will help him feel happier and more relaxed.
"Could you be the patient and loving family Puma has been waiting for?
Anyone interested in offering Puma a permanent home can complete an adoption form on the branch website and return it by email to enquiries@rspcablackpool.org.uk.
