My first official event took place on 15th of May when my husband and I attended the Kendal Mayor Making.
Clare Feeney-Johnson is this year's Mayor. Kendal Mayor Making is a very formal event held before Civic dignitaries, including the Chairman of County Council, Chairman of South Lakeland District Council, the local MP, and Percy Duff, Hon Freeman of Kendal, and many voluntary organisations.After the formal event, everybody is invited to a formal buffet reception.The evening went very well and Clare's two children were very well behaved.Congratulations to Clare and I hope she enjoys her year in office.
