The Rotary Club of Ulverston held a Gala Day on Saturday 4th October, 2008 in the Coronation Hall, Ulverston.
During the morning they held a Coffee Morning and in the evening I was invited along with my husband to the Gala Day Grand Concert.
This year's guest Brass Band was The Fairey Band. What a performance, they played rousing and foot tapping music for around two and a half hours.
After the performance Rotary Club always put on a supper of pie and peas for the Band, before they make the long journey home. A grand evening of entertainment was had by all.
