WHAT you can and cannot do without planning permission is the question posed at the next High Furness Neighbourhood Forum.
Charlotte Douglas from the Lake District National Park Authority (LDNPA) will give a brief overview on the recent changes to planning rules for alterations and extensions to domestic properties.
Also on the home front, Elizabeth Bruce will talk about the different renewable energy options - where each works best, how much do they cost and the funding available to help.
Prior to the presentations, there will be local updates regarding Hawkshead Parish Council, The National Trust, Hawkshead Affordable Housing Group, Esthwaite Green Link, LDNPA, Coniston Voluntary Car Scheme, Grizedale Visitor Centre redevelopment, Coniston Green Boat Gathering and the Broughton 511 bus service.
There will also be the opportunity to swap local information on meetings and events and listen to representatives from local groups applying for Forum grants.
The Forum takes place at 7pm on Wednesday, January 28 at Hawkshead Market Hall.
Forums are public meetings and all are welcome. Call 01539 713181 if you require any additional information or visit www.cumbriaforums.org.uk
