A LARGE shipping container containing high-value plant equipment has been stolen from the Middleshaw area of Old Hutton, near Kendal.
The container, which measures 25ft by 10ft, was stolen overnight on Saturday, January 17.
In order to move the container, the thieves would have needed a heavy goods vehicle or lift equipment and police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or heard the vehicle to help them with their investigation.
