CRIME in South Lakeland has fallen by 15 per cent according to the latest statistics.
Sgt Stuart Flett of Ulverston police said that there had been a 15 per cent reduction in recorded incidents in Cumbria.
He said at a town council meeting last week that violent crime was down by 27 per cent and that anti-social behaviour was also greatly reduced.
