A MULTI-MILLION pound business estate and park and ride scheme could soon be created within the borders of the Lake District National Park.
The £70m development would see a 16.5-hectare site in the South Lakes transformed into modern employment space, offering green transport options to major LDNP centres and environmentally sensitive premises for new and existing local businesses.
A planning application for the Ratherheath LDNP Business Estate will be submitted to the Lake District National Park Authority (LDNPA) planning committee in February.
To find out more about the proposed development and its exact location see today's The Westmorland Gazette.
