Hawkshead Parish Council is entering further discussions to resolve the town’s car parking problem.
The council is arranging a meeting with local traders to involve them in the issue.
The council clerk is also writing to the Lake District National Park Authority and The National Trust to encourage uniformity of parking fees and raise the issue of daily and weekly saver tickets.
