CUMBRIA is commited to doing its bit to help avoid catastrophic climate change following the signing of an emissions reduction commitment.
Today members of the Cumbria Strategic Partnership (CSP) are signing the Cumbrian Climate Change Commitment - which combines the county’s climate change strategy as well as action plans that make 146 recommendations for cutting emissions in Cumbria.
Recommendations include making buildings more energy efficient, improving public transport and boosting renewable energy production.
