From 1 October 2009 the weekly redundancy limit will increase to £380 from £350. This means that anyone made redundant and earning £380 or more will receive £380 for each complete year of service if they are between 22 and 41, half that amount if under 22 and 1.5 times the amount if over 41. However the figure will not rise again in February 2009, when it is usually increased, it will be held at that amount until February 2011.
