POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a ‘suspicious’ incident where a 15-year-old girl was approached by a male motorist in Kendal.
The girl was approached by the man, described as aged between 25 and 30 and of large build and short dark hair, at around 9.30pm on Thursday, August 27.
The man was driving an 07 registered blue/grey Ford car and invited the girl to get in. He became agitated when she refused.
The girl was not harmed and police say she acted ‘calmly and sensibly’ by calling her parents and police officers.
