MORECAMBE Bay hospitals are meeting or beating nearly all of their key targets.

Figures released by the trust which runs Westmorland and Furness general hospitals and the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, show they are achieving waiting times for cancer cases and A&E patients.

The trust - which deals with around 140,000 patients a year - only missed one target when one of 92,975 outpatients had to wait more than the maximum 13 weeks.
