TWO young men were hospitalised following a fight at a pub in Kendal last night (Saturday).

Kendal Police believe the fight started in The Studio pub and spilled out onto Kent Street, at around 11.45pm.

Four males have been arrested in connection with the incident and two have been hospitalised.

Two males - one aged 18 and another aged 19 – have both been hospitalised and are being treated for head injuries.

The condition of the more badly harmed male - who is detained at the Royal Preston Infirmary - is described as serious.

PC Duncan Helmn said: “Incidences of this nature are treated very seriously by the police.

“At the moment we are trying to contact anyone that who witnessed or was involved in this disorder.

“It is vital that the public come forward at the first opportunity so we can piece together exactly what went on and identify exactly who was responsible for the incident.

“Anyone that took video coverage of the disorder using their mobile phone is asked to save the footage and contact the police.”
