LEWIS Edge, the goalkeeping son of Morecambe physio Dave Edge, has had his big break in professional football.
The 17-year-old made his debut for Football League Div-ision Two Blackpool against Bristol City on Saturday.
Teenager Lewis signed for The Seasiders last November and was the club's third choice keeper.
But injuries saw him promoted to the starting line-up for the final game of the current season - a 2-1 defeat for Blackpool by the division's promotion play-off favourites.
