SINCE we are having so many closures of post offices in the district, with possibly more to come, it seems that people are confused where local offices are still operating.
This was pointed out to me by sub-postmaster Neil Soar in my usual post office in the Bargain Booze outlet on Greaves Road, Lancaster.
Neil has a good business and intends to stay put but says that many people don't realise the post office is still there.
Because of all the publicity about closures they think it has shut down, like two others in Scotforth West ward in recent months.
I hope that by writing this letter, residents around Scotforth and Bowerham will wake up to the fact that Neil is still there and the business is going strong.
