A MOTORCYCLIST has died in Furness General Hospital following an accident on the A5087 Ulverston to Barrow coast road on Saturday afternoon.
Cumbria police, who are appealing for witnesses, said that the collision happened near the Meadowlands Caravan Park and that no other vehicles were involved. The man, who is not being named until next of kin have been informed, sustained serious injuries from which he later died.
