CUMBRIA police are appealing for witnesses following an incident when two males were assaulted on the ground floor of the multi-storey car park at the rear of the South Lakeland District Council offices in Kendal at 10pm on Saturday.
The males were taken to hospital and one was admitted to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary. It is believed that a large group of people, who were possibly attending a fair in the town, will have witnessed the incident. Cumbria police said two people were arrested.
