WARTON Stock Car Club holds its annual team championship banger meeting this weekend with a £2,000 prize fund to be shared out.
There are prizes for the overall winning team, the most destructive team, best driver, best car and plenty more.
Each team of up to four bangers will be split and race in two heats from which those with the highest points qualify for the final.
Along with the Warton regulars, Invaders, Team Headbangers, TNT, Team V, Bad Newz and Steeles, there will be The Blooz Boys two teams and one-off teams like The Lone Wolves, Pete Marquis Plant Hire and a team racing for the popular wartononline.com website.
With more than 60 bangers booked in, and no doubt, others turning up on the day, it will be a classic meeting for the track.
There are also Super Bangers and Warton Stock Cars racing on the day, and going off past meetings this summer, they too will be action packed.
The action at Warton Raceway starts at noon.
