TWO of the area's most creative bands are joining forces tomorrow (Friday) to fuse new and improvised music at The Gregson Centre in Moor Lane, Lancaster.

Kicking off at 8pm, the four-piece Irregardless and big band Off The Rails will get together to play a variety of music including a special collaborative piece called Kiss'.

Steve Lewis, singer with Irregardless, has been working on approaches to improvisation with Off The Rails for the last few weeks and says Friday's gig promises to feature sensational impromptu pieces.

Off The Rails will be performing the first half of the evening, with Irregardless playing the second set.

Tickets for the gig will be available at the door priced £5 (£3 concs
