VOLUNTEERS are needed to help police with their enquiries'.
Lancashire Constabulary is looking to recruit new part-time helpers this week - National Volunteers Week.
Tasks will include telephoning people to update them on the progress of investigations as well as gathering information for police.
Assistant Chief Constable Julia Hodson says: "We already have some volunteers who make a valuable contribution. Now we are looking for people to extend the police family and assist with delivering a quality service."
