TOUCHDOWN Dance combines voice, video, live music and a wide range of dance styles to create a whole new theatrical experience.
And the unique company of visually impaired and sighted dancers break the mould of traditional choreography in Closer, a dynamic new show of impro-visations which is coming to the Nuffield Theatre, Lancaster, on Wednesday next week, November 9.
Using senses other than sight, six dancers take flight together.
Liberated from the taboos of touch by their sightless state, they share a world where contact is not cautioned but is the starting point of freedom and trust.
Hearing, smell and the ripple of breath energize the space between bodies with a rich sensory perception.
Tickets for the performance at 8pm are from 01524-594151.
