BUSINESS Link for Cumbria is backing an organisation dedicated to encouraging businesses to become more environmentally aware.
Carlisle and Eden Business Environment Network, which provides free environmental advice and audits to help firms, has gained Business Link Link Assured' branding.
Linda Carr, Business Link for Cumbria's quality manager, said the group would be of huge mutual benefit.
"Link Assured branding is a way of providing really useful support services for the county's small businesses and at the same time making sure that those services are of a high enough standard to reach the customer satisfaction standards that we demand."
