The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is hosting a cross bay walk next Sunday, May 11, leaving Arnside Promenade at 1.30pm under Queen's Guide Cedric Robinson.
The eight-mile walk takes just under three hours and participants can return by train from Kents Bank.
Adults are asked to pay £5 and children under 15 £2.50. For details, call Jean on 0161-787-8779.
