PEOPLE who would like to take part in Ulverston's fifth Flag Fortnight have only days to register their interest.
From Saturday, May 3, to Sunday, May 18, more than 150 silk flags will be on display outside shops, businesses and houses in Ulverston.
Already 11 more people than last year have asked for a flag to be made for them at Welfare State International for £100.
The Better Town's Team, which organises the event, can also arrange brackets to be fitted for the flags. The team is also responsible for taking the flags down at the end of the festival.
Town centre manager in Ulverston Jayne Kendall said those who wanted to take part only have until the middle of next week to sign up. Contact secretary of the Better Town's Team, Mick Hall, on 01229-580342.
