THEY are one of the most wildly successful and inventive groups in the history of music.

They were responsible for the legendary Rumours, which has sold more than

30 million copies and still remains one of the top five best-selling albums of all time.

Now, 35 years since their original formation, The Big Mac is back!

A new album, The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac, comprises no less than 21 legendary tracks.

The seminal Rumours, which spent an incredible 443 record-breaking weeks in the UK charts alone, is represented by five classics: Go Your Own Way, Dreams, You Make Loving Fun, Chain and Don't Stop.

Back in July 1967, Peter Green and Mick Fleetwood formed Fleetwood Mac and their debut was made on August 12 1967 at Windsor's National Jazz and Blues Festival.

Their first album, Fleetwood Mac, released in February the following year, reached the UK top five but it was the success of the single, Albatross, that began to earn the band international reputation.

Peter Green was not comfortable and left in 1970 to be replaced by Christine Perfect, who later married John McVie.

Later, Spencer was replaced by Bob Welch.

Further upheavals followed until vocalist Stevie Nicks and her partner Lindsey Buckingham came on board in 1975.

The members of Fleetwood Mac were inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.

To celebrate nearly four decades of Mac magic, which never lost its potency, direct video distribution limited are giving away four copies of The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac CD.

The Album will be released on October 14.
