Businesses can find out how to cut costs and become more environmentally friendly at three seminars later this month.
The free seminars, about cutting costs by reducing waste, will show how businesses can reduce overheads by taking a close look at environmental waste and making better use of raw materials.
Cumbria Rural Enterprise Agency (CREA) on behalf of the Carlisle and Eden Business Environment Network, is running the seminars, which are part-funded by the government's landfill waste tax.
The seminars, which runs from 5pm-7pm, take place at Kirkby Stephen Community Centre on November 12; Tufton Arms Hotel, Appleby, on November 19; and CREA's offices at Redhills, Penrith, on November 28.
To book a place, ring Lynda Barnes at CREA on 01768-242135.
