Today's Kendal Town home fixture against Kidsgrove Athletic has been called off because the Cheshire side is involved in a replay after drawing 1-1 with Frickley Athletic in the FA Trophy on Saturday.
Town crashed out of the Trophy a the first hurdle on Saturday, losing 3-1 to Gainsborough Trinity on Saturday, but that will not worry manager Peter Smith greatly as his team is again going well in the UniBond League First Division.
After a shaky time in October with four league defeats and a draw Town have won their last two league matches and are in seventh place.
Next Saturday brings a tough test, however, when Town visit leaders Alfreton Town, who were promoted from the North West Countiues League at the end of last season and have only been beaten once in 15 outings in the UniBond League this season.
