THOSE interested in looking good this month will be pleased to know that Ivy Rigg and Cathy Blundell have pulled out all the stops to once again bring us the Hair & Beauty Show, in Staveley (off the A591 between Kendal and Windermere), to be held in the village hall between 10am and 4pm on Sunday.
The show will include demonstrations from experts in their field such as Fabian, the international psychic consultant; and Phil Barnford, who brings the 'magic of magnet-magnetic technology', an amazing discovery by a small British company.
Linda Braithwaite will give an update on Shamanic healing and, back by popular demand, Fay Bailey returns to discuss the benefits of Reiki and self-healing.
Nelson's David Burt will also be on hand to show the benefits of using homoeopathy and Bach flower remedies.
Refreshments will be served throughout the day with all proceeds going to the improvements of Staveley's community village hall.
Doors open at 10am.
Entry £ 2.50.
