LANDOWNERS and farmers are being reminded there is still time to apply for funds to help with woodland creation and management this winter.
Cumbria Woodlands has been given additional money for the next three years to help the county's rural economy recover from foot-and-mouth, which means there is £700,000 waiting to be spent by March 2003.
The deadline for grants is October 31.
