Chris Newton lines up for the Kent Valley RC-promoted Invitation Time Trial.
Newton, who won the points race at the World Track Championships in Copenhagen last weekend, is among a top-class field of 50 bidding for the £2,000 in prizes on offer in the event, which is backed by accident claims specialists bikeline.co.uk.
The first riders leave the Prom at Bowness at 9am.
